Jan 14, 2015 · As you would expect GameStop is accepting trade ins towards the New Nintendo 3DS. You can get $100 if you trade in your Nintendo 3DS XL or PlayStation Vita. Alternatively, if you only have an original Nintendo 3DS to trade in or a Nintendo 2DS then you can get $75 trade in towards your brand new New Nintendo 3DS. I traded my old 3DS (launch day purchase) and $100 to Gamestop back on release week when the XL released. Questioned that decision for about 5 minutes. I'll never play on a screen that small again. This trade-in offer will last until Aug. 12, so be sure to get your 3DS to your GameStop to pick up the New 2DS XL.
